A
Boston suburb called
Chelsea is getting a little taste of
France this month.

The producers of the
Pink Panther 2 with
Steve Martin are taking full advantage of the
Massachusetts tax credit by building a full French movie set in an empty warehouse off of the
Revere Beach Parkway next to Home Depot.
Boston Movie Tours got a chance to go on location to check out some of the filming and it truly is an amazing sight to see this type of shooting done here in Massachusetts. Rather than film on location in France, the set along with various Boston exteriors will fill in for France.
To give you an idea of the scale, the parking lot is filled with at least 15 film trucks and the inside has various stages set for filming.
We were lucky enough to take a quick picture with Steve Martin. Pictured here are Chelsea’s finest Will Brizuela and Sammy Mojica along with Boston Movie Tours founder Jeff Coveney.
